Summary

VS /v/-tan is a mod in which BF raps against notable 4chan characters from the /v/ board such as /v/-tan, Cancer Lord, and ConsoleZord, who was introduced in the Zord Edition. Sneed, a /tv/ meme, also has a song in this mod as of the Zord Edition. There is also a song in the Birthday Edition featuring Yotsuba singing against Hiro.

Plot

While BF and GF were browsing the internet, they get sent to 4chan by Daddy Dearest. Once they land, /v/-tan, enraged at what he considers a shitty DDR clone, challenges him with his dancepad, staying angry throughout /v/idyagames and Sage.

When Harmony starts, /v/-tan calms down, and then pulls out his mic and sings when his dance pad breaks down midway through the song.

Afterwards, a jannie appears to try to ban /v/-tan and BF, and depending on if you get two or fewer misses on Harmony, they either get 404'd or /v/-tan manages to strike the jannie down.

If BF doesn't get 404'd, he plays vidya with /v/-tan, until /v/-tan's house get's raided by Cancer Lord and his /b/-tard army. BF proceeds to rap against Cancer Lord. Depending on your accuracy, /v/-tan either kills Cancer Lord with his own weapon, or BF gets killed by Cancer Lord.

Trivia

  • There are other board-tans that make a cameo appearance in this mod:
    • /x/-tan in the cave
    • /vr/-tan appears in Harmony
    • /qa/-tan appears in the countdown
    • /vt/-tan appears in the background frozen in ice in Birthday
  • Yotsuba was initially teased as having a bonus song for the initial release, was revealed to be a fake-out for Cancer Lord's bonus song, Infinigger.
    • As of the Birthday edition, Yotsuba now has a playable appearance in the mod, singing against Hiro in Birthday.
  • The art seen in Birthday was based off of the art showcased in 4chan's 18th birthday post

Cyber BF

Cyber BF had originally started as an attempt by a /funkg/ anon to create a more appealing original character for the Full Ass Game through reaching out to one of the backers for the "Your Own Playable Character" tier, who initially had a controversial idea for a playable character after paying for the final spot for one of five additional characters that would be playable in the full game. After what seemed like some promise of getting a different character in, the anon had designed Cyber BF, a futuristic BF with tech goggles and discs on his arm. Unfortunately, this attempt at getting him into the game has later proved to be unsuccessful, meaning he would not have a playable appearance in the base game.

In the mod, Cyber has a slight redesign, with the discs on his arm in the mod being replaced with a screen of arrows and hair closer to the color of the original Boyfriend. In the /v/-tan mod he is now playable in the base week and the /v/-tan week, which can be done by going into the debug menu during a song and selecting bf-cyber as Player 1.
